PRIVACY POLICY

We don’t store your data, period.

We don’t track you. We don’t profile you.

If you subscribed to our newsletter we only use your email for our communication with you.

1. Cookies

A cookie is a small simple file that is sent along with pages of this website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer or another device.

First-party cookies are simply functional, these allow your browser to remember certain pieces of information such as items in your shopping basket if you close the window you were shopping in or if you’ve logged into an online account.

Third-party cookies are used for marketing and tracking purposes. These allow your browser to send pieces of information about you to data surveillance companies. For example, if you’ve searched for a new chopping board on your browser, you’ll start to see adverts for chopping boards pop up in various places in your cyberspace.

Here at Green Revolution we don’t take any third-party cookies; after all, our dream is to see the world abolished of greed! We advise you to deny cookies on all the sites you visit – don’t let them make you into the product.

In our cookie banner, marketing cookies (third-party cookies) are automatically toggled off.

2. WHAT DATA WE’LL TAKE FROM YOU

The only data we’ll take from you unless you toggle the marketing cookies in our cookie banner is information for functional use. An example of this is your specific browser so if you ever revisit the website, it’ll remember you cookie preferences.

The only other piece of data we may take from you is your email when signing up to our email updates. This is only if you voluntarily provide us with your email.

3. WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

As the owner of your personal data, you have certain rights over how it is collected, used, and shared.

Right to Access: You have the right to access the personal data that an organization holds about you. This includes information about how it’s being used and who it’s being shared with.

Right to Rectification: You can request to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data that is being held about you.

Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): In certain circumstances, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. This might apply if the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or if you’ve withdrawn consent for its processing.

Right to Restrict Processing: You can request that the processing of your personal data be restricted under certain conditions. This means that while the processing is restricted, the data can be stored but not processed further.

Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller.

Right to Object: You can object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes, such as direct marketing or where the processing is based on legitimate interests or the performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority.

Rights in Relation to Automated Decision Making and Profiling: You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

Right to Withdraw Consent: If the processing of your personal data is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
